SIGNALS (2017) by Lior Navok is an 11-minute composition for four percussionists and piano/celeste. Written during a stay in Berlin, the piece was inspired by the distant red light of an antenna seen through fog, imagined as a form of silent communication. Dedicated to Frank Epstein and the NEC Percussion Ensemble, the work blends atmospheric textures with rhythmic clarity, offering a compelling addition to contemporary percussion ensemble repertoire.
