Dialogues (1999) by Lior Navok is an 11-minute semi-theatrical work for soprano and percussion. Its three movements—Talking Doll, Sargam, and Shadowphobia—explore satire, rhythmic vocalization, and the psychological relationship between a person and their shadow. Combining vocalize and English text, the piece offers performers a vivid, imaginative, and rhythmically engaging addition to the contemporary soprano–percussion repertoire.
