Remembrances of Jerusalem (1995) by Lior Navok is an 11-minute solo classical guitar work consisting of a prelude and a set of variations. Composed during the composer's time living in Jerusalem, the variations develop fragments and motives from the prelude rather than following traditional variation form. Evocative and introspective, the piece offers a rich addition to contemporary classical guitar repertoire, blending modern expression with a sense of place and memory.
