Guitar Concerto (2010) by Lior Navok is a 21½‑minute concerto for guitar and orchestra, written for Brazilian guitarist Luiz Mantovani and the Israeli Sinfonietta Beer Sheva under Doron Solomon. Structured in four interconnected movements, the work develops recurring motifs that shift in color and character, with the orchestra functioning as an extension of the guitar rather than a contrasting force. Scored for guitar solo, flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, horns, percussion, harp, celesta, and strings, the concerto offers a richly textured and expressive addition to the contemporary guitar‑orchestra repertoire.
