About the Piece Soliloquy unfolds as an introspective journey—a quiet, inward-looking single-movement work shaped by evolving motifs and subtle shifts in texture. It is ideal for professional ensembles and advanced groups comfortable with sustained introspection, color control, and unified pacing. This piece fits perfectly into contemporary chamber concerts, programs centered on inner narratives, and recitals featuring modern one-movement string quartet compositions.
Program Notes Soliloquy is my fourth string quartet and, to date, the most intimate of them. As the title suggests, the piece is a journey into self-reflection and exploration. It was composed for the Borromeo String Quartet.
