About Silent Streets
Silent Streets is an 8½‑minute solo‑piano work composed during one of the COVID‑19 lockdowns, when cities around the world fell unnervingly quiet. The piece reflects the surreal stillness of that period: empty avenues viewed from windows, distant sirens cutting through the silence, and the heavy emotional atmosphere shaped by news from hospitals. Written in 2020, the work captures a moment in time when isolation, uncertainty, and quiet observation became part of daily life.
