The Old Photo Box consists of twenty short piano pieces, each written as a miniature scene or portrait. The cycle was composed in 2008 and conceived as a collection of musical snapshots, some based on real experiences and others imagined. Several of the miniatures were written in dedication to close friends and colleagues who inspired the work.
