Somewhere in the middle of an imaginary ocean, a friendly submarine sends its periscope up to the surface in a mission of discovery. What awaits there above the water? What is to be seen? With “Periscopes” I have portrayed twelve different miniatures; each sending the listener into a different sonorous world.“Periscopes” was generously commissioned in memory of Adele and John Gray
