Today, before a rehearsal in Leipzig, I rushed from the main train station directly to the Thomas Church Leipzig, where J.S Bach has worked for the last 27 years of his life. This is one of the most amazing and scared moments for every composer I think, being in this place where holy, spiritual milestones of musical creation were composed or performed.
The spirit of the master is still there.
